FACIAL TREATMENTS

HYALURONIC ACID FILLERS

Hyaluronic acid is a biocompatible and biodegradable substance. It is equivalent to a polysaccharide in the human body, which is produced naturally.

Its main disadvantage is its short duration being very few days in its natural composition, so it has to be carried out a process to stabilise it and thus make it last for several months depending on the reticulation of hyaluronic acid.

When we start to lose hyaluronic acid in the face, there is a reduction in volume and contour, as well as the appearance of wrinkles in our face. The function of hyaluronic acid is to hydrate, fill and reconstruct the volumes improving the elasticity of the skin. Currently there are two types of hyaluronic acid, the non-reticulated (hydration) and the reticulated (replenishment and filling of volumes and hydration).

Where to apply it: to reduce wrinkles, to recover volumes, to deeply hydrate and harmonise the face.

Duration: from 12 to 18 months depending on the area treated and the natural characteristics of each patient (lifestyle, diet…).

Treatment duration: 30-50 minutes depending on the area treated.

Recovery: there may be minimal swelling, with immediate recovery to normal life.

Pain: almost painless; anaesthetic cream can sometimes be used.

Time to perform the treatment: anytime.

Compatibility with other treatments: it can be done with all treatments that do not use significant heat in the area.

Post-treatment advice: do not do intense sport during two hours, do not use a sauna in 24 hours,        use sunscreen.
